Horsley Huber Architects Ltd continue an unbroken tradition of an architectural practice founded in Stafford 150 years ago. With offices in Stafford, the practice has two directors and two associates working with technical and general staff, including clerks of works and CDM coordinators. Our current programme covers a broad range, including religious, education, health, and commercial buildings. Projects range in value from £50,000 to £20 million.
Conservation projects include the Redhouse Cone Glassworks Museum for Dudley MBC, the extension and conservation of Stone Station for Stone Town Council, and around forty listed churches. Education projects are of all sizes, with a considerable involvement in PFI projects.
Our present health design work includes major PFI hospitals, LIFT schemes and a range of other departments.
In addition, we are engaged in several housing and commercial projects.
The practice offers full administrative and financial support services, computer systems for project management, financial forecasting, desk top publishing and National Building Specification, VectorWorks Architect and AutoCAD, a full RIBA technical library and on-line information system to complement the full Department for Children Schools & Families, DHSS and Housing Corporation guidance information.
